My inspiration for this Christmas card came from my passion for understanding the characters from Christ’s life and my love of mid-century design, specifically the work of Alexander Girard and Charles and Ray Eames. This card was paired with the scripture in Matthew 2:1-2 which says, “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” The card was blind-debossed on a letterpress printer.
